Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an accounting professional to support project accounting, billing, and financial monitoring. You will work closely with project managers, analysts, clients, and vendors to ensure timely invoicing and accurate financial data.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting, including Dynamics setup, billing, and AR processes.
• Prepare monthly client reporting and assist with vendor invoice processing.
• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements.
• Interface with project managers, analysts, clients, and vendors.
• Support Operations Manager and Regional leaders as needed.

Duties, Responsibilities & Other

• For internal applicants, continued employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
• Project accounting, including Microsoft Dynamics project setup, monthly billing and AR processes, contract and billing file setup and archiving, and assistance with financial monitoring and vendor invoice processing.
• Comply with ISO requirements.
• Assist with client monthly reporting.
• Interface with project managers, analysts, clients, and vendors.
• Provide support to the Operations Manager, Regional Practice Leader, and Project Managers.
• Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting required, or Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting plus 3–5 years of related experience.
• Preferred experience with an AEC industry firm (Architecture, Engineering or Construction).
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance.
• Ability to contribute within a team that includes a variety of services, clients, and personalities.
• Experience developing and using spreadsheets to prepare invoices and project tracking.
• Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
• Must understand financial concepts, and understand and adhere to GAAP/FAR rules and regulations as related to KCI billing.
