Job summary

Mission Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Administrator to join our Twin Cities team. This role provides essential administrative support to the Project Coordination group and helps keep project docs, drawings, and submittals organized.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Prior construction tech experience is not required, and training is provided.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Project Coordination team.
  • Prepare, organize, package, and ship submittal samples.
  • Create and prepare jobsite signage and project documentation.
  • Upload drawings into Procore and manage project files.
  • Maintain project records and subcontractor documentation.
  • Support Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Superintendents.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining project documentation.

Mission Construction is a commercial general contractor specializing in tenant improvements, renovations, and commercial construction projects throughout the Twin Cities. We're looking for a motivated, organized individual to join our team as a Project Administrator. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administrative work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to play an important role in supporting successful construction projects.

Construction experience is not required. If you're organized, eager to learn, and enjoy working with technology and processes, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.

Position Summary

The Project Administrator provides administrative support to our Project Coordination team and assists with a variety of project and office responsibilities. This role is essential to keeping projects organized, documentation accurate, and daily office operations running smoothly.

Success in this role requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do
Project Administration
  • Prepare, organize, package, and ship submittal samples to clients, architects, and project partners using courier services, UPS, and other carriers.
  • Create, print, and prepare professional jobsite signage.
  • Upload drawings and project documentation into Procore.
  • Print and distribute construction drawings and project documents.
  • Prepare projects for punch list creation within Procore.
  • Enter and maintain company and user information within the Procore Directory.
  • Maintain subcontractor insurance documentation in Procore.
  • Provide administrative support to Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Superintendents as needed.
  • Assist with organizing project files and maintaining accurate project records.
Office Administration
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Help keep the office organized, stocked, and operating efficiently.
  • Assist with general administrative and office management tasks.
  • Support company initiatives and other administrative projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Is flexible, adaptable, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
  • Communicates professionally, both verbally and in writing, with coworkers, clients, and trade partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

·Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to perform occasional local business errands and project-related deliveries.

Preferred
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Administrative, office management, or project coordination experience.
  • Experience in commercial construction or a related industry.
  • Experience using Procore or similar project management software.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $50,000 - $56,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications
