Job summary

You will maintain payroll data, set up employees in multiple systems, ensure labor-law compliance, and support payroll reporting and audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ of experience processing payroll.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication.
• Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
• High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintains payroll information and data entry.
• Process multiple payrolls through third-party software.
• Employee setup and maintenance in multiple software systems.
• Ensure compliance with current labor laws.
• Quarterly audits of earnings, tax and deductions codes.
• Reconciliations of wages.
• Assist in salary-based audits (e.g. 401K/Workers Compensation).
• Respond to employee questions on payroll issues.
• Reporting of payroll-based data as requested.
• Assistance with timecard tracking.
• Collaborate with Finance on requests.
