Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation, a leading supplier of automated materials handling systems, seeks a Payroll Specialist II to manage payroll processing for domestic multi-state operations, ensuring accurate deductions and tax compliance. You will coordinate with third-party agencies, prepare payroll reports, and support monthly close and audits.

The role requires 5–7 years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ADP, UKG, SAP, and Kronos. CPP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressively responsible payroll processing experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now, UKG and SAP preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and payroll reporting experience.
• CPP certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in manufacturing or material handling environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple locations (domestic, multi-state) and review payroll reports.
• Prepare required reports/payments to organizations and employees.
• Ensure taxes and deductions are withheld as required.
• Compile payroll data (garnishments, leaves, insurances, 401(k)).
• Review/approve payroll deductions and transfer data.
• Prepare payroll reports and ensure tax withholding compliance.
• Interface with multiple levels of personnel as needed.
• Balance payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare W-2s and related tax forms.
• Support audits and SOX/JSOX compliance.
