Qualifications

• Must have a degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of relevant project accounting experience.
• Experience with Deltek and advanced Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with setup, maintenance and close-out of projects in accounting software.
• Interpret contract terms and ensure they are reflected in project setups and controls.
• Review incurred costs including time, expenses and subconsultants for accuracy.
• Prepare accurate and timely billings and support PM review of billed/unbilled charges.
• Analyze project budgets and variances; participate in financial review meetings.
• Review and submit comments for monthly revenue and quarterly forecast.
• Assist with A/R collections as required.
• Provide project financial software training as needed.
• Support management with project analysis and data collection.
