Job summary

Mercy Health in Warren, Ohio is seeking a Progressive Care (Step Down) Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver specialized nursing care to patients in a high-acuity environment. You will act as a bridge between Med-Surg and ICU units, assess patient needs, and coordinate effective treatment plans.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and preferred ACLS. Experience in acute care and a BSN is desirable, with a commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or higher.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire and must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to Progressive Care patients.
• Act as liaison between Med-Surg and ICU units.
• Develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
