Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Progressive Care (Step down) Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality nursing care in a hospital setting. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, assess patient status, and develop care plans to improve outcomes.

The role requires 1 year of RN experience (acute care preferred) with current RN licensure and BLS/ACLS as applicable. A BSN is preferred but not required, and candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN experience in acute care or hospital setting.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Current RN license in state of practice; BLS/ACLS as noted (ACLS within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team and coordinate patient care across departments.
• Assess patient status and develop plans to improve outcomes.
• Administer medications and ensure safe, therapeutic environment.
• Serve as patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement.
