Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Stepdown RN for part-time night shifts in Ohio. The RN will deliver patient care using the nursing process, coordinate care across departments, and advocate for patients and families. BLS/ACLS preferred; BSN encouraged, CNCC/PCCN preferred.

Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, care planning, and education, with emphasis on safety and quality improvement within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice or compact state.
• Preferred: BSN and CCRN/PCCN certifications.
• Experience in stepdown or ICU nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using nursing process; assess, plan, implement and evaluate.
• Administer medications safely per policy and state regulations.
• Coordinate care across hospital departments and with care teams.
• Advocate for patients and families, ensuring quality and safety.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
