Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a Part-time Progressive Care (Step down) RN at Fairfield Hospital. The role delivers exceptional nursing care, bridging Med-Surg and ICU, focusing on prioritization, care plans, and a safe, therapeutic environment.

Essential functions include collaboration with the care team, patient assessment, care coordination, safety advocacy, and safe medication administration. BSN preferred; active RN license required; 1 year of RN experience required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience (required).
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
• BSN preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and create a plan of care.
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination across hospital departments.
• Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
