Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide care for a group of complex patients, including initial assessment and ongoing monitoring. The role requires independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of physical, psychological, and sociocultural needs.

This is a part-time evening shift (7p-7:30a) for 24 scheduled hours weekly with opportunities to grow through the Mercy Clinical Ladder.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure from the state of Ohio as an RN.
• Successful completion of orientation and probationary period.
• Maintains 12 contact hours of continuing education annually including Fire Safety and BLS/CPR recertification.
• Theoretical knowledge with clinical experience across varied patient populations.
• BLS/CPR recertification is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for initial assessment and ongoing monitoring of a group of patients.
• Coordinates nursing care with independence in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Precepts new employees as assigned and supports clinical ladder progression.
