Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care (Step down) unit at St. Joseph Warren Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care, coordinating with Med-Surg and ICU teams, and developing care plans to improve patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates have an RN license with BLS; ACLS is preferred and should be obtained within six months of hire. BSN is preferred but not required. Mercy Health offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure in the US.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in Progressive Care (Step down).
• Lead as service line liaison between Med-Surg and ICU units.
• Develop and implement patient care plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment and patient safety advocacy.
