Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (Step-down) at West Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care and coordinating across Med-Surg and ICU, using strong organizational and leadership skills.

The position requires RN licensure with BLS/ACLS as noted; BSN is preferred but not required. New grads are welcome, with benefits and a mission-driven workplace supporting growth.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an RN.
• BLS or ACLS (preferred at hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment, analyze data, create a plan of care, implement treatment, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Serve as point of contact for patients' care coordination across departments.
• Act as a patient safety advocate by participating in quality improvement.
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
