Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Research and respond to correspondence, phone requests, or in-person visits from department staff, public, leasing companies, and insurance carriers regarding workers’ compensation provisions.
• Use data management systems to request coverage, confirm changes, and correct inconsistencies in documents.
• Perform follow up on outstanding requests for compliance and refer for further review as needed.
• Notify employers of non-compliance and schedule hearings to explain obligations and interpret laws and rules.
• Maintain and update records related to correspondence and filings in the database and document management systems.
