Job summary

CAMBA is seeking a Program Supervisor for the Short Term Housing Program in Brooklyn, NY. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure contract compliance, and guide staff to deliver quality housing with case management services.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and familiarity with housing for chronically homeless individuals. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of applicable experience.
• Knowledge about and ability to work with persons Chronically Homeless, and/or living with HIV/AIDS and related issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Understand contract requirements and communicate them to staff.
• Train staff in program responsibilities, processes, and procedures.
• Set realistic weekly and monthly performance targets in line with contract requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day activities of direct reporting staff.
• Observe staff interactions with clients and supervisory staff.
• Conduct weekly client progress reviews with staff.
• Perform periodic internal file reviews and QA measures to ensure quality service.
• Provide crisis counseling to clients as needed.
• Prepare contract reports and statistical information for CAMBA management and funders.
• Complete program forms for finance, payroll and HR departments.
• Assist in analyzing program and demographic data for improvements.
• Organize onsite and offsite training opportunities for staff development.
• Consult with Senior VP on programmatic and operational matters.
• Attend staff/funder/outside agency meetings as requested.
• Review and sign time sheets.
• Prepare performance appraisals for direct reporting staff.
• Prescreen clients over the phone for eligibility and schedule intake appointments.
• Plan and coordinate social/peer support events, including group facilitation for clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
