Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Program Planning Scheduling Analyst to join our team on-site in Palmdale, El Segundo, or San Diego with travel up to 50%.

This role requires a government security clearance and strong MS Project/IMS experience. Responsibilities include developing the integrated master schedule, coordinating with finance, engineering, and manufacturing, and applying EVM practices to drive schedule performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in program planning, scheduling or related fields, or Master’s degree with 3+ years, or 9+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• Active Government Secret clearance (or higher) with BI within last 6 years or Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access as required by company.
• Experience with MS Project and development of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and coordinate the integrated master plan and schedule to meet program objectives.
• Ensure schedules are integrated across finance, engineering, material, manufacturing and quality.
• Track plans, perform risk analysis and resolve critical path and logic conflicts.
• Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestones, EVM and other PM techniques to gauge progress and identify variances.
