The role sits in the Scheduling Center of Excellence within the Mission Systems sector, offering exposure to contract management, production operations, risk, and program management practices.

The ideal candidate has strong team-building, verbal and written communication skills, and experience with major scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years professional related experience or a Master’s with 6 years related experience.
• Possible 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• 4 years of project scheduling experience using scheduling tools.
• Experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willingness to travel domestically 10% of time and possess DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and control the program schedule baseline with cross-functional teams.
• Develop an integrated program measurement baseline to manage cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Use scheduling software to plan and gauge progress and identify variances.
• Perform project analyses through metrics reviews and predictive analysis.
• Conduct schedule risk analyses and resolve risky schedules and critical path issues.
