Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst in San Diego, CA, for a full-time onsite role with a 9/80 schedule. You will lead scheduling activities within the Mission Systems sector, coordinating across engineering, operations and management to ensure on-time program execution.

The ideal candidate has deep scheduling experience, strong communication skills, and a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years professional related experience -OR - a Master's degree with 6 years of professional related experience.
• 4 years of project scheduling experience using MS Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan or other related scheduling tool.
• Experience using MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
• Current, active DoD Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering and operations to decompose scope and develop the program schedule baseline.
• Work with program management to develop an integrated measurement baseline for cost, schedule, and performance.
• Use scheduling software to plan progress and identify variances for management decisions.
• Perform metrics reviews and predictive analysis to improve performance.
• Conduct schedule risk analyses and work with the program manager to resolve critical path issues.
