Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services seeks an Assistant Program Manager to assist with daily administration, programming, and operations of the Developmental Service program. You will contribute to Bay Cove’s mission through effective, compassionate services and advocacy.

This non-exempt role supports the Program Manager, participates in staff development, and ensures program safety and compliance while coordinating appointments and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in human services.
• Associates degree in Human Services preferred.
• CPR/SFA, MAP, and Mandt training within 90 days of hire.
• Current driver's license.
• Strong reading, writing, and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Strict adherence to program model including PBS, clinical, programmatic, and quality protocols.
• Supports and fills in for Program Manager and Support Staff as needed.
• Exhibits strong clinical judgment in observing, supporting, resourcing and communicating.
• Models and reinforces activities of daily living, hygiene, budgeting, safety and personal property management.
• Implements and develops program activities to reinforce and develop skills.
• Facilitates safety procedures including crisis assessment, prevention and intervention.
• Arranges and tracks medical, dental and psychiatric appointments.
• Maintains programmatic documentation.
• Provides specialized training to individuals and coworkers on an assigned basis.
• Assists with program systems to ensure proper communication and compliance (Dayforce, eHana, Relias, HCSIS).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
