Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services in Boston, MA is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support day-to-day administration, programming, and operations of the community-based Developmental Service program(s). The role contributes to Bay Cove’s mission by delivering compassionate services and through advocacy and leadership.

This non-exempt position partners with the Program Manager and staff to ensure effective service delivery and program compliance.

Qualifications

1-3 years experience in human service setting preferred.
Associates degree in Human Services preferred.
CPR/SFA, MAP, and Mandt training within 90 days of hire; required to retain employment.
Current driver's license and ability to use personal cell phone/vehicle.

Responsibilities

Strict adherence to program model and policies; support Program Manager and staff.
Exercise strong clinical judgement in observation, support, and communication.
Model and teach daily living activities, hygiene, budgeting, and safety.
Develop and implement program activities to develop skills.
Facilitate program safety procedures including crisis assessment and intervention.
Arrange and track medical, dental, and psychiatric appointments.
Maintain programmatic documentation.
Provide specialized training to individuals and coworkers as assigned.
Assist with systems to ensure communication and compliance (Dayforce, eHana, Relias, HCSIS).
Perform other duties as assigned.
