Bay Cove Human Services is seeking an Assistant Program Director to support daily administration, programming, and operations for a developmental service program in Greater Boston/Southeast Massachusetts. This non-exempt role requires leadership, advocacy, and commitment to compassionate service delivery.

The position involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory protocols, and coordinating individuals' appointments.

Qualifications

GED or High School Diploma; college degree may substitute for 1 year of experience.
DPH medication administration certification; MAP certification within 6 months of hire.
CPR & First Aid (SFA) certification; must be certified within 30 days of hire.
Safety Care certification; must become certified within 90 days of hire.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and one year driving experience.
Adequate reading, writing, communication, and computer literacy.
Physical ability to perform necessary lifts or restraints.
Use of personal cell phone or vehicle as programs have assigned vehicles.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day administration, programming, and operations of the developmental service program.
Attend and facilitate staff meetings; assist in director absence.
Demonstrate clinical judgment in supporting individuals and programs.
Assist in ISP development and progress reporting for individuals.
Maintain program documentation such as progress notes and medication logs.
Coordinate appointments and advocate for individuals' needs.
Ensure safety procedures and crisis response are followed.
