Job summary

The position involves managing analytical activities, supporting IT development projects, and providing staff with data analysis expertise. Evening/weekend hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a human services field.
• A bachelor’s degree in a human services field and one year of experience in a federal or state certified human service program, which must have been in a professional administrative position in which a major duty involved planning, coordinating, monitoring or evaluating a provision of services for people with developmental disabilities.
• A bachelor’s degree in a human services field and two years of experience in a federal or state certified human service program. One year of this experience must have been in a professional administrative position in which a major duty involved planning, coordinating, monitoring or evaluating a provision of services for people with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a data management specialist
• Be responsible for partnering with SPS Leadership and other divisions for data collection and reporting
• Communicate with SPS leadership using a variety of data-driven tools and work with staff on effective tool use
• Support knowledge transfer of data analysis skills, tools and software with unit staff located in the Regional Field Office 3 to expand data knowledge. Function as a resource for development plan reports
• Review division activities to proactively identify areas where data can help identify division goals and objectives and/or assess progress and performance of division activities
• Monitor and maintain storage of records associated with the SPS?
• Support other analytical activities, and assist with compiling data for requests from Central Office, as needed?
• Provide analysis for SPS Leadership regarding staffing output, compliance benchmark timelines
• Participate in discussions of large-scale projects to assist with tracking to ensure meeting benchmarks.
• Provide statistical background for analyses and provide expertise for evaluative work with staff
• Participate in IT development projects that will support SPS services
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed
