Job summary

Office for People With Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Program Operations Specialist 1 to join the SPS Quality Assurance structure. The role focuses on data management, reporting, and analysis to support planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

You will work with SPS Leadership, use data-driven tools, and contribute to knowledge transfer across units.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a human services field.
• Bachelor’s degree plus one year of experience in a federal/state certified human service program with duties including planning, coordinating, monitoring or evaluating services for people with developmental disabilities and information gathering/analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree plus two years of such experience; one year in an administrative role with data gathering/analysis.
• Substitution: Juris Doctor, master's or higher degree can substitute for one year of specialized experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a data management specialist.
• Partner with SPS Leadership and other divisions for data collection and reporting.
• Communicate with SPS leadership using data-driven tools and train staff on tool use.
• Support knowledge transfer of data analysis skills and tools to Regional Field Office staff.
• Review activities to identify where data informs goals and progress.
• Monitor and maintain storage of records related to SPS.
• Assist with data requests from Central Office.
• Provide analysis for staffing output and compliance timelines.
• Participate in large projects to track benchmarks.
• Provide statistical background for analyses and evaluative work.
• Participate in IT development projects supporting SPS services.
• Additional duties as needed.
