Job summary

Amazon's Transportation Engineering Systems (TESS) team in Tempe is seeking a Program Manager II to lead configuration changes, analyze package flows, and drive automation at scale. You will collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to design scalable transportation flows and deliver analytics and reporting capabilities leveraging AI.

You will manage projects, track milestones, and contribute to documentation while ensuring timely delivery and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing data-driven process improvements.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup) and SQL proficiency.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage system configuration changes across Amazon's proprietary transportation systems to support new and existing package flows.
• Track program milestones and communicate status to business leaders and stakeholders.
• Execute network design changes end-to-end, coordinating with business leaders and program teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Dive deep into package flow data to troubleshoot system errors, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and build automation to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
• Develop analytics and reporting capabilities leveraging AI to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks in system configurations before they impact customers.
• Document processes, standard operating procedures, and configuration playbooks for the team.
• Contribute to additional doc writing such as QBR, MBR, and Lessons Learned.
