Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager, Transportation Engineering Systems (TESS) in Bellevue, WA. You will coordinate diverse stakeholder needs, translate them into system configurations, and drive end-to-end program delivery.

You will develop strategy, analyze data for improvements, and partner with business and engineering teams to prioritize actions and manage budgets. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and executive communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage full life-cycle of complex cross-functional programs with impact across multiple organizations.
• Develop the overall program strategy, driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver.
• Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data and drive metric-based improvements.
• Work in an ambiguous environment, understand business problems, limitations, scaling factors, and leadership decisions.
• Partner with teams across the business to source, allocate, and coordinate resources.
• Collaborate with customers, internal/external teams, and engineering to determine project priorities.
• Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, reducing exposure to failures.
• Identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
• Communicate with program managers and executives to impact critical business initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs.
