Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager for the Transportation Engineering Systems (TESS) team in Bellevue to manage configuration changes across transportation systems and optimize package flows at scale.

You will work with business leaders and program teams to design configurations, troubleshoot issues, and build automation and analytics capabilities leveraging AI for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.
• 2+ years of program or project management experience.
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
• Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams.
• Master's degree or equivalent (preferred).
• Knowledge of SQL (preferred).
• Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage system configuration changes across Amazon's proprietary transportation systems to support new and existing package flows.
• Track program milestones and communicate status to business leaders and stakeholders.
• Execute network design changes end-to-end, coordinating with business leaders and program teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Dive deep into package flow data to troubleshoot system errors, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and build automation to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
• Develop analytics and reporting capabilities leveraging AI to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks in system configurations before they impact customers.
• Document processes, standard operating procedures, and configuration playbooks for the team.
