Job summary

The North American Transmission Forum, Inc. seeks a program manager to lead practices program areas related to transmission system operations and design. You will coordinate engagements with member hosts, volunteers, and NATF staff while translating strategic goals into actionable plans.

This role requires independent and collaborative work, strong judgment, and a focus on continuous improvement. Travel seven to eight weeks per year to support on-site activities and peer review engagements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with NATF staff to shape strategic direction aligned with the NATF’s vision, mission, and goals.
• Organize and facilitate projects to develop technical and process guidance to support member processes in the assigned area.
• Interact with member leadership, the NATF CEO, COO, staff, and others to identify emerging issues and adjust activities accordingly.
• Coordinate with peer review hosts to define topics and support preparation for the engagement.
• Recruit volunteer subject matter experts and assign them to peer teams.
• Lead the on-site portion of engagements, including delivering the opening presentation, managing final reports, and preparing the exit presentation.
• Design and implement quality diagnostics and analytics to support program effectiveness.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop and share data, insights, conclusions, and recommendations derived from peer review observations.
• Develop and deliver selected training for staff and members.
• Provide input on organizational strategy, program integration, and the development and refinement of work plans across program areas.
• Follow corporate policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
