Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking a Transmission Planning Project Manager to oversee all phases of transmission planning projects, mentor teams, and maintain strong client relationships.

You will guide business development, scope projects, manage budgets, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards. You will lead technical studies (steady-state, transient stability, production costing) and apply NERC/FERC standards while utilizing tools such as PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, PSCAD, ETAP, and Promod to solve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5 years of related professional experience.
• Knowledge in project management techniques and procedures.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of transmission planning projects from business development through execution.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, develop scope and fee structures, ensure quality deliverables, and maintain client relationships.
• Mentor and develop talent within the team; lead contract development and negotiations.
