Job summary

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking a Program Manager 3 to join our dynamic team. The role involves supervising program staff, coordinating recruitment and training, and ensuring safety and compliance within the facility.

The successful candidate will oversee staff performance evaluations, attendance at training sessions, and collaboration with the Director and outside agencies to meet client needs. A strong focus on client well-being and operational excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months experience as an agency program assistant is preferred or two years of human services experience with supervisory experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supervision of Program Assistants and other staff, including recruitment, interviewing, and scheduling.
• Oversee security and safety of the facility and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Provide on-site staff development and training, including performance evaluations.
• Schedule and conduct staff meetings and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Monitor medication processes and maintain documentation in the Medication Log.
• Collaborate with Director and outside agencies to meet residents’ needs.
