Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Program Manager II to lead large programs addressing complex needs in our community. You will oversee budgets, staff, and partnerships, ensuring services align with grant requirements and housing stability goals.

The role emphasizes program development, cross-team coordination, and reporting to senior leadership, with on-site management and collaboration with community partners to improve outcomes for clients served.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Social Services Program Management, Coordination or Supervision.
• Budget management/oversight experience and ability to manage programs with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage program budgets and performance goals per grant requirements.
• Create policies, procedures, and communications to achieve program objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of case managers and service plans for clients.
• Train and coach VOALA staff on program requirements and tools.
• Coordinate multiple programs on location with several teams of staff.
• Monitor services and ensure quality meeting funder requirements.
