Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles seeks a Program Manager I to supervise efforts to meet contract and budget goals while coordinating with community partners and VOALA assets. This on-site role requires strong leadership and program oversight to deliver services for vulnerable populations in Los Angeles.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in social services program management, at least 2 years in staff supervision, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related discipline; 4 years combined education/experience.
• Minimum 3 years in Social Services Program Management or Supervision.
• Minimum 2 years direct experience in Staff Management.
• Preferred: Master of Social Work or related field; experience linking clients to resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake, service planning and goal attainment.
• Supervise staff, provide培训 and problem-solving.
• Ensure grant objectives and guidelines are met.
• Document client services and program outcomes.
• Coordinate outreach with community partners and landlords.
• Maintain records of compliance with funder requirements.
• Lead training and mentorship within the service teams.
