Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks a Program Manager I to lead daily program operations, supervise staff, and advance trauma-informed, client-centered services for individuals experiencing homelessness. The role emphasizes quality improvement, data integrity, and collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; substitutions allowed.
• Active Basic Life Support certification or able to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Two years of management and supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of homelessness, trauma-informed care, and related services.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, hires, trains, and supervises program staff in alignment with goals.
• Conducts regular supervision with direct reports to provide coaching and performance management.
• Facilitates team meetings to share updates and coordinate services.
• Sets and monitors staff performance objectives toward program goals.
• Onboards and develops staff with clear roles and expectations.
• Oversees day-to-day program operations ensuring policy and funding compliance.
• Supports trauma-informed care and recovery-oriented services.
• Participates in quality improvement with documentation, monitoring and follow-up.
• Assists in budget, grants, and reporting duties as assigned.
• Maintains accurate client records and data reporting in HMIS/EHR systems.
