Job summary

The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, is recruiting for a Manager, Program (Supervisory & Non-Supervisory). The role oversees one or more programs, manages budgets, coordinates activities, and collaborates with outside agencies to achieve strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of program oversight including planning, budget, and coordination.
• Two (2) years of direct management experience for supervisory designation.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Substitutions allowed: 30 undergraduate credits can substitute for related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more programs of substantive size and budget.
• Set goals and tactics to achieve program objectives.
• Plan and coordinate daily activities of a program and manage relationships with outside agencies or subcontractors.
• Manage budget, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports.
• Coordinate training programs for employees, volunteers, or the community.
• Plan data management and communications strategy with senior management.
• Oversee data analysis databases and monitor program policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
