Job summary

The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) School of Medicine is seeking a Manager, Program in the Department of Medicine to oversee substantial programs and budgets. You will set goals, coordinate daily activities, monitor outside partners, and manage finances while supporting training and data management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; PMP certification preferred.
• Four years of program oversight, planning, budgeting and coordination.
• Two years of direct management experience required.
• Education/experience may be substituted per policy with related credits.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more programs of substantive size and budget.
• Set goals and tactics to achieve program objectives.
• Coordinate daily program activities and relationships with outside agencies.
• Oversee budgeting, expenditures, variances, and reporting.
• Coordinate and assist in training programs for staff and volunteers.
• Plan data management and communications; work with senior management on goals.
• Utilize databases to analyze criteria and inform policy revisions.
