Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in related field or BS/BA with 3-5 years’ management and supervisory experience.
• Program administration/development skills required; with a strong ability to lead.
• Experience managing housing, service programs, home visitors, and similar programs.
• Experience and education on homelessness, substance abuse and mental illness; promote equal access.
• Highly motivated, creative with excellent interpersonal and advocacy skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Ability and desire to work as part of a team and support New Reach’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of operations and service delivery of the Greater New Haven Supportive Housing Programs.
• Oversee implementation of evidence-based models within program delivery, including Motivational Interviewing and Person-Centered Planning.
• Support discussions, execution, and completion of annual Strategic Planning directives.
• Provide oversight to Lead Case Workers and ensure program outcomes meet quality standards.
• Conduct community trainings and meetings as a New Reach representative.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for agency and funders.
• Monitor compliance of data systems, tracking, and dashboard metrics.
• Advocate to senior leadership for program and operational needs; update policies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accreditations, certifications, and regulatory standards.
• Supervise staff per policy; orient and train staff; enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Responsible for hiring, time verification, PTO approval, and annual performance evaluations.
• Maintain HMIS data quality and client records; protect confidentiality.
• Act as New Reach’s representative at meetings and community events.
• Maintain 24-hour availability for emergencies; assist with special projects as assigned.
