Job summary

Central Arizona Shelter Services, Inc. seeks a Program Manager to oversee all supportive services at the assigned Phoenix location, supervising direct service staff across varied shifts and reporting to the Director of Programs. Travel in the Phoenix metro area is limited.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree and 2+ years of leadership experience in nonprofit or human services.
• Experience supervising frontline staff and coordinating programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; familiarity with trauma-informed care.
• Ability to manage cross-functional relationships with staff and partners.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Actively involve team members to identify service improvements and present actionable suggestions to leadership.
• Stay current with community needs assessments and propose new programs and improved services.
• Support implementation of new program models, policies, and workflows as directed.
• Lead tours showcasing the program’s services, outcomes, and impact to partners and funders.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to deliver trauma-informed, client-centered services.
