Job summary

ISD728 seeks a program supervisor to oversee extended day enrichment sites, ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children and families. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating with managers, and maintaining program policies and records.

You will plan activities, arrange supplies, and support registration while collaborating with school district staff to deliver equitable, high-quality community education programs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or higher in a related area preferred.
• Minimum 21 years of age and background in child-related programming is expected.
• Training in child development, recreation or enrichment programming, and supervision strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with parents, staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of extended day enrichment sites to ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Supervise staff to maintain appropriate ratios and program adherence.
• Coordinate with Managers and office staff on marketing, publicity and timely registration.
• Organize materials and activities to provide a safe, diverse and quality experience.
• Maintain attendance records and data privacy for participant safety.
• Hire, train and evaluate staff or volunteers and ensure on-site readiness for activities.
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and office staff regarding program benefits and school alignment.
• Plan staffing, services and accommodations for students with special needs or behavior issues.
• Follow and enforce program policies; perform other duties as assigned.
