Job Description

The Program Director will manage internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. Responsibilities include delivering products through the design process to completion, planning and directing schedules and budgets, and monitoring projects from inception through delivery. The role may involve overseeing external vendors and directing system analysis and program staff. This position primarily focuses on project and program management, requiring strong leadership, governance, and communication skills, with experience presenting to C-level executives. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of portfolio and project management tools and methodologies, and be capable of handling multiple priorities and ambiguity.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert and lead programs to meet critical needs
• Escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance
• Develop business case methodologies and coordinate business strategies
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans

Job Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Required Experience: 7-9 years

Preferred Education: Graduate degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: 10+ years

Preferred License, Certification, Association: CPHQ
