Job Description

The Program Director is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. The role includes delivering products through the design process to completion, planning and directing schedules and budgets, and monitoring projects from inception to delivery. The director may oversee external vendors and assign tasks to system analysis and program staff. This position primarily focuses on project and program management, requiring strong leadership skills, experience in portfolio management, and the ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives. The role involves managing strategic relationships and overseeing operational and strategic portfolios, including issue escalation and resolution processes.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manage programs with staff and matrixed resources, with oversight from AVP and VP
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert and lead programs to meet critical needs
• Escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance
• Develop business case methodologies and coordinate business strategies
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans
