Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. The role involves delivering products through the design process to completion, planning and directing schedules and budgets, and monitoring projects from inception through delivery. The director may oversee external vendors and assign, direct, and monitor system analysis and program staff. The primary focus is on project and program management, with an emphasis on governance across operational and strategic portfolios. The candidate should have strong management and leadership skills, experience presenting to C-level executives, and extensive knowledge of portfolio and project management tools and methodologies.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert and lead programs to meet critical needs
• Escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance
• Develop business case methodologies and coordinate business strategies
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans

Job Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Required Experience: 7-9 years

Preferred Education: Graduate Degree or equivalent

Preferred Experience: 10+ years

Preferred License, Certification, Association: CPHQ
