Job Description

Job Summary

The Program Director is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. The role includes delivering products through the design process to completion, planning and directing schedules and budgets, monitoring projects from inception to delivery, and overseeing external vendors if necessary. The role focuses on project and program management, including assigning, directing, and monitoring system analysis and program staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience presenting to C-level executives, and extensive knowledge of portfolio and project management tools and methodologies. Responsibilities also include managing strategic relationships and overseeing issue escalation/resolution processes.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert in the functional area and lead programs to meet critical needs
• Escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to senior management
• Develop business case methodologies, and coordinate the implementation of business strategies
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans
