Job Description
Job Summary

The Program Director is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. They oversee the entire project lifecycle from design to completion, including planning schedules, managing budgets, and monitoring progress. The role may involve overseeing external vendors and directing system analysis and program staff. The primary focus is on project and program management, with an emphasis on governance across operational and strategic portfolios. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, experience presenting to C-level executives, and extensive knowledge of portfolio and project management methodologies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP
  • Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert and lead programs to meet critical needs
  • Escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance
  • Develop business case methodologies and coordinate business strategies
  • Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans
