About The Role
As a CBRE Program Director, you will manage teams responsible for delivering a portfolio of projects and programs. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Mail, Document Services, Shipping & Receiving, and related areas. Your expertise will be critical for creating and executing operational strategic programs and delivering a superior customer experience. You will analyze, evaluate, create, and implement operational plans to provide industry-leading services to our clients.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate scope of work to determine staffing needs for daily operations.
- Create presentation materials outlining methodology and industry knowledge applied to staffing and operational models.
- Utilize cross-functional roles to deliver cost-effective staffing and resource solutions.
- Ensure compliance with postal regulations, shipping requirements (IATA/DOT), security screening (CBRNE), and safety standards (HAZMAT, PPE).
- Assess current processes to identify improvement areas.
- Provide guidance on best practices and industry standards for mail and shipping operations.
- Assist account teams with troubleshooting and implementing operational solutions.
- Supervise staff, oversee training, conduct performance evaluations, and manage hiring during transitions.
- Manage budgets, track financials, and explain variances.
- Serve as a primary contact for clients and escalate staffing or delivery issues.
- Coordinate resource allocation and project reviews.
- Train staff and develop processes to support client needs.
- Report project status to senior management.
- Oversee end-to-end programs, develop project charters, and ensure schedules are met.
- Manage relationships with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Apply knowledge across disciplines to improve performance.
- Lead by example, negotiate with external partners, and solve complex operational problems.
- Travel up to 50%, including some weekends.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 4+ years of relevant experience; or 6+ years of combined education and experience.
- 4+ years in Mail/Shipping/Logistics and warehouse management.
- 4+ years experience with HazMat, IATA, DOT regulations; certifications preferred but must be obtained within 120 days.
- Operational knowledge of material handling equipment and safety regulations.
- Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational and inquisitive mindset.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
