Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, delivering products from design to completion. Plans and directs schedules and budgets, monitors projects from inception through delivery, and may oversee external vendors. Assigns, directs, and monitors system analysis and program staff. This role focuses on project/program management rather than specialized functional expertise, though technical team members may be involved. A senior program management professional responsible for overall governance across operational and strategic portfolios, requiring strong management and leadership skills. Must be experienced in presenting to C-level executives, driving structure and organization, and using portfolio and project management tools and methodologies. Must be able to assimilate information quickly, make informed decisions, and communicate effectively. Handles multiple priorities and ambiguity, overseeing strategic and operational portfolios, managing relationships with Corporate EPMO and IT, and managing issue escalation/resolution processes.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manages programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP as needed
• Serves as industry Subject Matter Expert in the functional area and leads programs to meet critical needs
• Escalates gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to senior management
• Develops business case methodologies, and coordinates business strategy implementation
• Collaborates with other units at corporate and Molina Plans
