Job Summary

Responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. Delivers products through the design process to completion, plans and directs schedules and project budgets, and monitors projects from inception through delivery. May oversee external vendors and assign, direct, and monitor system analysis and program staff. The role focuses on project/program management rather than specialized functional expertise, though technical team members may be involved. The senior program management professional is responsible for overall governance across operational and strategic portfolios, requiring strong management and leadership skills, experience presenting to C-level executives, and proficiency with portfolio and project management tools and methodologies. Must be able to assimilate information quickly, make informed decisions, and handle multiple priorities and ambiguity. Provides oversight over strategic and operational portfolios and manages relationships with Corporate EPMO and IT, including issue escalation and resolution.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manages programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP
• Serves as industry Subject Matter Expert in the functional area and leads programs to meet critical needs
• Escalates gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to senior management
• Develops business case methodologies, and coordinates the implementation of business strategies
• Collaborates with other units at corporate and Molina Plans

Job Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Required Experience: 7-9 years

Preferred Education: Graduate degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: 10+ years

Preferred License, Certification, Association: CPHQ
