Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. Delivers products through the design process to completion, plans and directs schedules and project budgets, and monitors projects from inception through delivery. May oversee external vendors and assign, direct, and monitor system analysis and program staff. Focuses primarily on project/program management, with leadership responsibilities across operational and strategic portfolios. Must have strong management and leadership skills, experience presenting to C-level executives, and extensive knowledge of portfolio and project management tools and methodologies. Should be a logical, analytical thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity. Responsible for strategic relationships with Corporate EPMO and IT, and managing issue escalation/resolution processes.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manages programs with staff and matrixed resources, with oversight from AVP and VP
• Acts as industry Subject Matter Expert and leads programs to meet critical needs
• Escalates gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to senior management
• Develops business cases and strategies for programs and implementation
• Collaborates with other units at corporate and Molina Plans
