Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Program Director to oversee residential and day-program operations for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will lead staff, coordinate services, and ensure adherence to individualized plans and regulatory standards.

This role blends direct supervision with operational management, including budgeting, site leadership, and delivering person-centered supports to promote independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in residential IDD/DD or related services.
• 2+ years of leadership overseeing multiple programs, sites, or teams.
• Strong decision-making, time management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and adapting to new platforms.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel management across assigned programs and ensure staff training and development.
• Monitor program operations and develop individual goals and service plans.
• Manage day-to-day operations ensuring consistency with organizational expectations.
• Coordinate medical and healthcare supports through site leadership.
• Monitor program-related finances and resource use.
• Oversee home and program site maintenance and address issues.
• Guide site leaders to ensure accountability and follow-through.
