Job summary

Dungarvin inc is seeking a Program Director to oversee residential and day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role blends direct care with supervisory duties to drive person-centered supports across the program.

You will lead staff, ensure program goals and budgets are met, and maintain high-quality services in line with licensing and company expectations. A valid driver’s license is required and on-call responsibilities may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field.
• At least 1 year full-time direct experience working with participants with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• At least 2 years of experience in management and working with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Prior experience developing and implementing individual programs, budgets, and supervising employees is desired.
• Demonstrate good decision-making, time management and communication skills, and be responsible and flexible.
• Ability to lift/transfer and provide personal cares to persons served.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Successful clearance of a criminal background check for licensing requirement.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and program coordination including ensuring staff complete orientation and ongoing training.
• Monitor all aspects of the program including developing individual goals and plans and implementing the program.
• Assure coordination and management of the overall operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects through guiding the designee of the site.
• Provide leadership and team building with staff at programs.
• Ensure quality of services in alignment with person-centered practices, licensing and Dungarvin expectations.
• Direct care as needed at programs.
