Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Program Director to oversee residential and day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role blends direct care supervision with program leadership across multiple sites, ensuring person-centered supports and compliant operations.

You will lead staff development, coordinate service delivery, manage day-to-day operations, and collaborate with site leaders to meet goals while maintaining regulatory standards and a compassionate, family-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• 1+ years in residential IDD/DD services or similar.
• 2+ years leadership experience overseeing multiple programs/sites.
• Strong decision-making, time management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and adaptability to new tech.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel management across assigned programs and ensure staff training.
• Monitor program operations, goals, and person-centered supports.
• Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring services are organized and aligned with expectations.
• Coordinate medical needs and healthcare supports through site leadership.
• Monitor program-related finances and resource use.
• Guide site leaders to ensure accountability and consistency.
• Ensure staffing coverage and operational quality through hands-on leadership.
