Job summary

Women In Need, Inc. (Win) in New York City is seeking a Program Director to lead the day-to-day operations of a transitional family residence for families with children.

You will ensure the program runs safely, smoothly, and in full compliance with NYS OTDA, DHS, and Win standards. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, coordinate services across employment, childcare, and recreation, and drive outcomes toward permanent housing and family stability.

Qualifications

• Hold MPH, MSW, or MA in Health or Social Services.
• At least five years in human services with supervisory experience.
• Familiar with EBP, MI and TIC.
• Strong judgment, boundaries, and cultural awareness.
• Experience with CARES and comfort with workplace tech.
• Flexible and on-call (24/7).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a multi-disciplinary team and budget oversight.
• Integrate services across employment, childcare, and recreation.
• Coach and develop staff to achieve high performance.
• Champion EBP, TIC, and MI in daily practice.
• Monitor program performance toward housing and family stability.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with program standards.
• Build partnerships with community providers and stakeholders.
• Maintain a safe, compliant environment for residents and staff.
