Job summary

Health Connect America is seeking a Program Coordinator to support client care and program operations across North Carolina, ensuring documentation, treatment team collaboration, and strong community partnerships.

You'll assist the Program Director with admissions, billing, payroll support, and compliance while helping recruit, onboard, and develop staff. This role blends direct service with operations and requires strong organization and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field required.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with children and/or families.
• Leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, community-based services, case management, or program operations preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and participate in treatment team meetings.
• Review treatment-related documentation to support quality service delivery and compliance.
• Serve as a key communication point for clients, families, referral sources, employees, and community partners.
• Assist the Program Director with admissions, authorizations, billing, payroll support, customer relations, chart audits, training coordination, and compliance activities.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, staff development, mentoring, and training efforts to strengthen team performance.
• Contribute to strategic planning, budget preparation, marketing initiatives, regional growth efforts, and quality improvement activities.
